I am writing programs on a emco machine I just want to know if haas will accept it WOLOG 01-08-2005, 09:15 AM Haas machines use standard Fanuc G-code. I can't remember what version it follows. Haas has some specific G & M codes that other machines may not have. I wouldn't try running an Emco program in a Haas. Or if you do want to try it, run the program in siimulato mode to check for alarms and such. pyroracing85 01-08-2005, 09:28 AM thanks I don't know how to run that but it is my friends machine Zoff 01-27-2005, 09:09 PM Oh, what is this ! G-code is G-code, couple changes and it will work. pyroracing85 01-27-2005, 09:25 PM yes I am getting a little better on g code. I am able to write the program get the codes in. The only thing is I get some alarms toward the end and need to learn how to fix them better without help miljnor 01-31-2005, 12:22 AM i have been programing haas and other machines for a long time. most g code is similar but not the same. this holds especialy true for canned cycles. but with minor changes it should work. also offsets are a touchy issue between machines. so be sure to check the haas and see if it is set to the same cordinate system (although more applicable to the lathes). |
