 I have model ( for learning only ) that has half -holes , that I would like to know how to fill , so I can create tool-path's on this area. Have tried with a few different method's of surfacing with no luck . If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would be grateful. Area I wan't to fill is circled in image.
Thank's in advance.

Try Edit>Face>Delete Face option and select both half-circular and the bottom flat face.
If it doesnt work you can Extract the adjoining surfaces and use Edit Sheet Boundary>Remove Trim option. This will give you the original suface and you have to trim them to fill the open area.
If i am not clear enough please post back.

Third way....Model complexity dependent
Since this seems like a pretty easy and straight forward model, you can also create Ruled surfaces between the edges, I use Arc Length option instead of Parameters by removing the Preserve Shape checkmark

Harold,
In NX5 you can use Direct Modeling to delete the faces. Select Insert - Direct Modeling - delete Face. Then Pick the faces of the "hole" The system will extend the remaining faces to cover the area removed.

Thank's Ananth for your tip. That worked great. Thank's also John for your input. Tried the Direct Modeling to delete faces, but all I got was error box that said ( It was not possible to delete the set of faces to be removed. ) This is a Parasolid Text File. X_T. Don't know if this has any thing to do with not being able to perform this function. But as alway's. thank's for your time.
