I was a bit confused as to what brand of ballscrews and ballnuts that CNCfusion uses in their kits. The pictures on their website have NOOK tags, a thread in their forums mentioned a new shipment of ABBA ballscrews, and their website mentions THOMPSON ballscrews.

So....I e-mailed them asking. This was the response they sent me:

Hi Caleb, we quit using Nook brand nuts a while ago, as they kept running out of stock, and we were left waiting for weeks at a time on back orders.

We now use Thompson ballscrews on the standard kits, and the deluxe kit uses ABBA brand ballscrews.

Here is a link to a Thompson PDF file with information on the ballscrews. We use ballnuts item # 8106-448-009

http://www.thomsonind.com/website/common/download/document/200706_05_NA_Ball_and_Lead_Screw_catalog_july_08.pdf

I have attached a data sheet with info on the ABBA ballscrews we use. The ballnuts we use are item # SFI1605-4

If you have any other questions, or need any help, just let me know.

Cheers,

Michael & Shelley Rodgers
