ViperTX 12-14-2004, 09:15 PM Edmund Scientific, if they are still around had optics, books, etc. Also lasersurplus.com....better get yourself some laser safety glasses. CNCadmin 12-16-2004, 07:26 AM I may have a RF co2 laser by next week, now I just need to design a machine for it. ger21 12-16-2004, 08:04 AM The fact that you can't see the beam is pretty scary. Especially when you have to bounce it around with mirrors to get it pointed where you want it. CNCadmin 12-16-2004, 08:10 AM True but this one is air cooled, so I will be able to mount it vertically so no need for mirrors, also you can attach a visible laser so you can "see" where the beam is going. I plan on wearing glasses ever-time I run it. ViperTX 12-16-2004, 09:31 AM Yeah, make them the wrap around type of shades. CNCadmin 12-16-2004, 09:32 AM Can you recommend a pair? CNCadmin 03-01-2005, 10:23 AM I found a great place to buy lasers and power supplies at 75 -100% cheaper than in the US- http://www.made-in-china.com/showroom/steveluo66 email them he gets back very fast.
