Hi,

We have one of these machines, We have got it running manufacturing brake disks. What we want to do is plug in a laptop / computer to control the machine / print out details about the jobs running and completion.

What i am after is some more information on what is required? What connectors does it use? What software does it need to control it?

When you say "control the machine", what precisely do you expect the PC to control?

Is it safe to assume it has a Fanuc control? It probably has an RS232 port. You can plug a laptop in to upload/download programs. If your control has the "User Macro B" option enabled, you can DPRNT through the RS-232 port.
