Hi everyone. this is for those who are on a budget build. The cheapest way to build a type A rockliff machine is instead of using precision ground bar for the linear bearings, use EN24 bright steel bar. Its relatively accurate and hard, and works fine. Cost wise, I just bought 6 meters of 5/8 diameter for £25 compared with about £2 for 100mm of precision ground. Just thought i'd let people know if they're on a budget
