Hello, i am trying to troubleshoot a 9161 (machine not ready) alarm on startup. I've followed the fault tree and even replaced a thermal 24vdc contactor in the circuit, but still no help.

If anyone has ever had this alarm in the past, what steps did you take to correct? Also, if any available documentation, that would be helpful too.

Probably not much help but my book says:
Cause: No "machine ready signal" or "hydraulic on" signal.
Action: Check breaker QFB2, QFB3 and thermal relay QFB6.
Check the "machine ready signal" and connections.
Check the magnetic contact and thermal relay of hydraulic pump motor.

Afraid that is about all the help I can offer. If you have found a solution, please post for the rest of us.
