I work for a relatively small sign company in upstate NY. We do alot of PVC letters, sometimes veneer. We mount these letters on walls using glued in studs on the back. He have to drill all the holes during the routing process, then glue and install every single stud at roughly 3-4 studs per letter on with upto 30-50+ letters a job. I see the function for tapping in our EnRoute program, but it only says "pitch." Does it just do the math if i tell it what tap it is using through the tool library? Any help would be greatly appreciated, times are tough and any way to save time is saving money.

We have a MultiCAM 3000 and we use EnRoute for ShopSabre V3.3
Thank you for your time.

EJ at Scanvec Amiable would be able to enlighten you. I have his email if you want to email me at dan.antes@gmail.com I will forward it to you. I know that tapping can not be done with a low torque high RPM spindle that would be on most sign shop or wood shop routers. It takes a high torque low RPM spindle like a steel milling CNC would have on it. Tapping is done at very low RPM's. A high frequency spindles looses HP as it RPM is decrease. Good luck!!!
