As many of you know, Digital Machinist relies on articles supplied from the ranks of hobbyists and small shop owners; we have no on-staff writers. Often, people will contact us expressing an interest in submitting an article for the magazine, but they have no idea of what we need from them and how to go about getting the materials to us.
To help potential authors, we have put together an Author’s Guide that, we hope, should answer most of the questions that an author may have. It includes information on what we are looking for in regards to photos, text, and drawings. You can receive a copy of this guide by emailing me at: gbulliss(at)villagepress.com
