Greetings!
I am a first year ITE teacher and am really enjoying it. I joined this forum to perhaps find out some more information about CNC mills for the future.
We currently have an older D&M4 Milling Station. Last night I finally found all of the floppy disks that came with it from D&M. I also found the old(!) Mastercam 6, 7.1, 7.2 CD's.
Does anyone else here use a D&M or Lab-Volt machine in their MS or HS shop? And if so, what version of windows do you use? I copied all the files to my XP laptop and they seem to work fine, but I do not have a serial port to operate the machine.
We also have a D&M Armdroid1000 robotic arm that still works. It was stashed away in my office and the senior class now had never seen the machine before.
