When I cut any size circle, my machine vibrates fairly hard, you can feel it in the floor ( concrete) when standing next to it.
Has anyone experienced this?

View Full Version : Has anyone experienced the Shaking? Has anyone experienced this? cabnet636 01-15-2009, 07:14 AM what software are you writing in!! all vectors work with nodes when they ain't smooth the circle can jerk, next one would get in to settings and speed. a machine has to look ahead to see where it is going much like a car around a curve, so try slowing down and see what happens. call me later and we can get on line this weekend (it will be cold on saturday) do you have internet at or near the machine, if not get it!! i'll show you somthing cool!! jim cabnet636 01-25-2009, 07:52 AM field worker have you had some improvement on the sahking? jim Field Worker 01-25-2009, 12:51 PM Jim, Yes, I had changed the mode from exact stop to CV, and it was good and smooth. However I'm still broke down but should have it up and running again tomorrow. Jim, In another reply from another thread, you mentioned that I should be able to do around 300 imp, Is this in the material or running above? I break bits (.250) if I run at 100 imp. or above. I was running a 1/2" 2 flute bit in 3/4" mdf at 110 imp with a depth at .375 and stalled the spindle. I have the 3HP and it even stopped the Y axis. Roger cabnet636 01-25-2009, 12:59 PM i cut sheets at 200to 400 ipm and use 3/8" bits at .375 deep per pass, i would not try this in one pass, craig t is telling me he is using 3 flute down spiral with excellent results i am going to try this, got to deal with the horses today will be back later jim |
