I've just purchased the Router Plans from the main site, all I have is the invoice of the purcahse from PayPal.
I've downloaded the zip/exe file, has the file is locked, is it just a case of waiting for the password to be sent through or is there something else I need to do?

You should be getting a password via email from Nick. It's the weekend, so give it some time.
