I ask because I am in the midlands and have some digitizing capability. At the moment only on small objects but I am building a router onto which I have a renshaw probe to mount. Graham slpd 11-24-2004, 04:53 PM Graham S Thanks for the reply. The accuracy I am looking for is at least a tenth of a mm and the size of the object is 550mm by 312 mm approx. Thanks  Graham S 11-29-2004, 03:13 PM Sorry for delayed reply, that is too big for may capability even when I finish the new machine. Brennan 12-05-2004, 02:06 PM Graham S I've been reading your other posts and looked into the Sharp GP2D02... http://www.junun.org/MarkIII/Info.jsp?item=30# ...It has it's own emitter built in but I think beter accuracy could be obtained by taking the unit apart and increasing the distance between the emitter and the sensor... Anyways, are you using a laser rangefinder for the system you're building? Very curious. regards, Brennan slpd 01-15-2005, 03:03 AM GRAHAM S I have a guitar neck which I would like digitizing in cross sections (if possible). Would it be possible for you to do this on your machine?????????? |
