Hi - I am attempting a belt drive system as well. (early stage) There is a lot of information on the site www.brecoflex.com - they sell belt drive components, as well as others do also.
You can use the search function in the wood projects log - search on "belt drive".
Last but not least, I have been poking around various threads here and asking lots of dumb questions about belt drive based system. If you search on my user name and posts I have made, a lot of them will be related to your goal.
Thank you I will start reading your posts
I ,ll hope that I get smarter of it.

Hi cor,
I can't done it but i will give you the basic information on belt drive.A Belt is a looped strip of flexible material, used to mechanically link two or more rotating shafts. They may be used as a source of motion, to efficiently transmit power, or to track relative movement. Belts are looped over pulleys. There are different types for belts available like flat belts, round belts, timing belts, vee belts etc.
