G'day Guys,

I am planning on buying an Excitech router shortly to machine some plaques and name plates among other things. I need to be able to create the cnc code for the router from a Coreldraw file. I don't know the first thing about the software that is used to do this or which one would be best. I have got Artcam pro 7000 but don't have much idea on how to use it. Is this a good software package to use for what I am going to be doing or is there something that would better suit my purpose? Is there some sort of tutorial on this software anywhere?
Thanks.

Dave.

I use dolphin cad cam and I am very happy with it. With that being said, I dont see any reason why artcam wouldn't work good for you. I have heard artcam is a good program so I would recommend to try learning that first and saving your money.
No need to spend if you dont have to. :)

I personally think you should try some of the Vectric products, their new Aspire looks great and is a reasonable price.
