Hello everyone. does anyonw know where I can get some 12 mm X1mm nuts ?(yes its definitely 1mm not 1.25mm nuts I need.) I am more than willing to pay for them if anyone has some.

Try your local model shop, that's where I get mine.

Proximity sensors are 12X1 (the 12mm ones anyway).
You should have no trouble with that size and taps are readily available as well.
Maybe things are completely different down under - IDK

Thanks Freff I`ll give that a try. I could prolly make my own but I need to be able to fit them to a ballscrew that I am fitting to my lathe so its a catch22 situation. Darebee..you have no idea how hard some stuff is to get in OZ. Do you know of an internet site that sells the taps if I end up needing one?
