I was just thinking that, with the road trip down south by Kalvin to purchase an X3 http://cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54897&page=4 . This may be a good time to start compiling a kind of Road Trip Diary for the various people who have done the same thing.
Anybody else considering this can have a one stop post for all the info required
Maybe post some useful info such as :
- What cities/stores you have had good/bad experiences with.
- What border crossings seem to be fast and which ones seem to be manned by over enthusiastic robocop clones.
- Best practice for getting a good exchange rate.
- What forms to print off from the CBSA site and what tariff codes to use.
- What you purchased on your trips.
etc
