I'd appreciate it if some one could give us some EDM data.We're going to make some cavities in aluminum, .75x.375, Depth 2.5 inches.
We are completely new to this.
Machine is a Hurco EDM.

We need:
On Time
Off Time
Amp.
Work time
Up Time
Voltage

to get it done as fast and as accurate as possible.

Do you have to do a rough run before finishing the hole?

I would rough then semi finish and finish use negitive polarity... is machine cnc/ what type of control...the negitive polarity will burn very fast but will wear trodes fast....

It's a TRM-39, manual in X ,Y and the control is a Futaba.

It took me 25 min. to get a .5 depth.
With predrilled holes,16 min.
