Input scaling factor (in this case 2). click on Apply, then OK Image5: Transform matrix closes, showing newly scaled entity. Note that original diameter is still shown, but scaling factor is inserted to the matrix (next to Transform) Image6: Click Edit->Transform->Apply Transformations Bertram 10-18-2008, 11:51 AM Image7: Warning dialogue box opens, click on OK Image8: Reselect entity and note that diameter measurement has been updated to new dimension, scaling in the matrix has reverted to 1. Switcher 10-18-2008, 12:40 PM I don't have the Scale option in the dropdown. Is that in a newer version of CamBam? I have version "Beta 0.8 Rel2" The version I have will only allow for a single axis (X,Y,Z) in the Transformation window, at a time, All is not an option. . Bertram 10-19-2008, 01:35 AM I am running the latest pre-release version http://www.cambam.co.uk/downloads/CamBamPlus0.9.4_081009.zip For the earlier versions: Select entity (or entities) Open the Transform matrix. The 1's you see in the matrix are the current scale factors. The first is for the x, second for y and third for z. With the matrix open, insert the scale factor you want for each axis. (Greater than 1 to enlarge, less than 1 to shrink). Click OK (Don't click the Apply button) On the menu bar at the top of the screen click Edit->Transform->Apply transformation Reselect entity to see updated info. wantsout 10-20-2008, 11:35 AM My verson dont have the scale selection either, so i will try that by changing the no.s in the transformation box. to scale up would you use a larger no. and to scale down would you a no. less than one IE (0.500) thanks very much wantsout 10-20-2008, 12:08 PM it works by changing the no.s but I dont use the apply button or it stays the same scale but by not using the apply button, only select OK after changing the no.s it works for me. thanks so much... Bertram 10-20-2008, 07:08 PM Glad it worked for you. I have added a few more words to the previous instructions to clarify things a little :) |
