First Post here. I'm working on an older Hitachi wire EDM with a Fanuc control. We've run into a problem, it seems like it basically occured over night. When we try to dry run a program, programs that we have run in the past succesfully and that have not been altered to our knowledge, the machine stops moving at the G01 block. Does the same when the wire, water, edm power are on. Rapid is fine. No alarms. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hello all,

We did locate the problem on this machine, for those of you who are interested it was a corrosion issue on board i/0c3a16b12110300a, located in the front cabinet. Cleaned it with a pencil eraser and everythings works fine now.
