I need an MSH-4703 read head from a Sony linear scale.

from SONY:
No other model besides an "old type SR801" uses the MSH-4703 head. The
only way to identify if an SR801 scale is "old type" or "new type" is to
remove one end cover and check the scale rod diameter ("old type" is 4mm
diameter).
