shut machine off

First unplug the machine Kboard and plug in regular keyboard inside cabinet.

Reboot and exit to DOS once boo up finishes .

Run C:\DEFRAG.

Then run C:\SCANDISK

If SCANDISK finds/shows errors, you can have it fix them. If SCANDISK can not fix, you may need to replace HDD.

If by chance you have a new HDD that is not of BPT formatting, this could be your problem - BPT format is 504MB ONLY. Larger size format will NOT WORK!!!

When replacing HDD, you have to partition C: drive to 504MB ONLY. or else software will get scrambled as data is stored. You will have to reload software on new HDD from back up disks.

YOu do have B/U disks I hope.
