Hi folks,

I'm wondering if anyone ever bought from http://www.homeshopcnc.com/index.html ? Are their products reliable, was the delivery ok etc?

They seem to have good prices, but I think some of the products are Chinese made. They have a VFD & Spindle deal for $1000 !!! Would the spindle be reliable....does anyone have experience with it?

Thanks.

YEP, i have,

i few months back i ordered 3 201, 2 960oz, 1 1260oz. very helpful with all my stupid questions. they delivered on time, it was just the nice people at the uk customs that held things up. would deal with them again.

sorry can't comment on VFD & Spindle.

I have not ordered anything from but they are very nice to deal with and quick to return emails.

Re the Chinese VFD,

For a few more dollars you can get a Hitachi drive from Drivewarehouse.

http://www.driveswarehouse.com/Drives/AC+Drives/Phase+Converter+VFD/X200-022NFU1.html

To my mind it would be worth the few extra dollars.

They answered my questions about some steppers i bought second hand on ebay. And fast. Not all shops would do that. I would buy from them

This is tempting for the price.
