Hi everyone,
I'm planning to buy a cam software and I had a look at Visualmill website, downloaded the trial version and viewed the video tutorial clips. I would like to know from people who already owned Visualmill 6 if they could review on this software and what is it advantages compare to other CAM software like Mastercam, Visi and Powermill?

thank you

Freddy

Dear HappyTrigger,
I just came across your post and I can't believe that no one has replied to your question yet. But, since you have already downloaded the demo, you have proabably already answered the question yourself, and have realized that VM6.0 is excellent and easy to use software! I/we have been using VisualMill at work since V1.0. It has come a long way, and we are no less than delighted with the performance and value of VM6.0!
Regards,
Dan

I use Visualmill 6 at work. It was my first cad/cam that I have had to learn, so I offer no comparison advice, but I will say it is good for the price. I like it and feel comfortable with it. I had to edit a post processor quite a bit to get the code like I want it, but you only have to get that right once.
It was pretty buggy when we first got it but after the last updates (one pretty recently), a lot of the bugs are gone. I tried some demos of others programs in the same price range and I think we made the right choice.
