Aloha 'Aina!

My name is Patrick and I am new to this forum.

After looking for over 15 years, I fianlly found extrusion parts.....
from 80/20. And then I found this site.

I have very little machining experience. My father has a UniMatte Unilathe.
but my step threw it away when he dies before I had a chance to get it.
So, 25 years later I am looking to go again.

I did build an electric vehicle prototype for manufacture in Romulus Michigan
10 years ago.... But I just did the easy part - wiring the 120 volts....
Bob Sweat of MetalCraft Productions did al the hard stuff.
He never did CNC - he did it all himself. Among other tasks, he designed the tooling.

He was also the guy who invented "independent suspension" -
you know the upper and lower a-arm around the spring and strut...

But anyway - anyone here heard of him?
I would like more infor about him.... for my own knowledge.

that went to the factory

Aloha,

Welcome to the forum. Despite my username I am living on Oahu, so I am always happy to hear from another person in Hawaii (I'm not sure there are many of us out there). I don't have any answer to your questions, but welcome anyway.
