I bought some 1/4" t-nuts from msmaster carr....
Too bad they were for 5/16 slot :withstupi
So I milled them down.

Nice Taig! Hey what are you using for your Z axis cover? I have almost the same set-up as you, in fact it looks just like your taig/enclosure lol.

Oh you saw that? I no longer have the stock vise (It sucked)
Great enclosure. Is it steel? Everything is sealed for no leaks? Full coolant?

Are you using the emery cloth method to hold those parts in there all at once?

The cabinet is actually all wood construction with a fiberglass basin.
The z axis cover is a heavy duty bicycle tube.
The variation in surface finish and size of the nuts was able to just be taken up by a small piece of paper.
I did a pull test before cutting.
