Im looking for help to write a CNC machine warranty, Im not sure where to start since Im new to the market. I sell Syil Machines in Argentina.

I want to limit my responsabilities to defective parts, so before shipping, the machine is cleaned, assembled & tested and its shown to the customer that it works properly, we also give the customer a brief course on Mach3 and machine operations.

I don't want to be responsible if the user crashes the milling head into the table or if a tool crashes into the lathe chuck.

What Im asking to the forum is a pointer to a ready made warranty from a small machines dealer, so I can roughly translate it to spanish and give it to a local lawyer to properly write the legalese.

Thanks a lot in advance :)

I think your best bet would be to hit up one of the add banners here and see what others are offering. I think it should all be posted online to read befor you buy.

What about the required conformation to safety and standards?
Are there any such requirements in Argentina?

The below would be a simplification of requirements in offering warrenty:
Quote:

* The 'Manufacturer's Replacement Warranty': This is a warranty that the original manufacturer of the product offers. It means that the manufacturer will replace the product within a certain time period if there are any manufacturing-related or other defects found after the purchase.
* The 'Manufacturer's Repair Warranty': Again, this is a Warranty that the original manufacturer of the product offers. It means that the manufacturer will repair the product within a certain time period if there are any manufacturing-related or other defects found after the purchase.
* The 'Seller's Replacement Warranty': The seller offers to replace the product within a certain time period if there are any manufacturing-related or other defects found after the purchase.
* The 'Seller's Repair Warranty': The seller offers to repair the product within a certain time period if there are any manufacturing-related or other defects found after the purchase.

But I still think your biggest concern would be any safety issue that was due to non conforming to current codes or standards.
This would be a concern if the machine was modified by you in any way after it left the manufacturer.
As a seller, you should only have to refer the buyer to the manufacturers warranty, void if the machine is modified by you though.
