How do you post to this group? I'm a member, I get the E's but not one of the addresses I've tried send in any questions or replies. What is the right Emil address to send to so it posts/forwards?

Here is the link that is in the email digests. emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net<emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net>

You can also go to this address (http://news.gmane.org/gmane.linux.distributions.emc.user) and sign up to read the archives and post replies to specific messages.

Alan</emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net>

That first link throws a 404. Pretty much sizes up my usual experience with sourceforge servers. :(

Alan's the guy that got me back successfully posting to the mailing-list. A move frowned on in some circles no doubt :)

Here's one technique:
Go here
http://dir.gmane.org/gmane.linux.distributions.emc.user
and choose "blog like, flat interface". The post and reply features are easily found reading the threads that way.

The first time gmane is used your email address will be checked against the emc mailing-lists member list. A confirmation email will be sent. After the first confirmation things are more automatic. Don't be surprised if your post takes several hours to show up in the archives.

ynneb offered to set up a forum. Looks like the board is not interested. That's unfortunate.

Bitten again by the editing/spellchecking on the cnczone editor. It was just supposed to be a link to the email address, but the editor put <http://www.cnczone.com/> in front of it. So I just went back and deleted the link. When I saved that the whole address was gone, so I had to add it back as html code. Strange!!!
