KATAKA has just updated the corporate website (www.kataka.dk) with more info on the first KATAKA compact actuators.

The KATAKA actuators are based on a new mechanical innovation: the segmented spindle.

A spindle is segmenteed and can thus be made extremely compact.

The KATAKA actuators are therefore very compact. With a max stroke many time the initial height of the actuator, the actuator is well suited for applications where linear motion is required from confined spaces.

The actuators from KATAKA belong to a totally new class of compact linear electromechanical actuators. They provide a new solution to old design problems.
