Hi guys,

I’m New, and I need help.

I’m going to buy a cnc mill at the end of summer. I was looking at a Tormach but it may be slightly too small and I may have to upgrade in a couple of years. But I like the price and the 4th axis is inexpensive.
1. Is there anyone in the Northern Virginia area that has a Tormach or similar CNC Mill that I could see run?
2. I am also new to software I was looking at Alibre Design and Alibre CAM but I don’t know if this is overkill for or how user friendly it is.
3. I am mostly going to do prototyping and making small parts 1-5 for gunsmithing applications.
4. Any comments would be greatly appreciated thanks.
