Hello all,
I just installed Ubuntu 8.04 with EMC2 and set it up to run a 4 axes CNC at the shop I work for. It is a gantry system with to Routers that can be turned horizontally or vertically. We machine tenons in the G19 position and mill mortice's in the G17 plain. We use cutter's that have a insert blade that never is set to the proper diameter. So to get around this we use the G41 and G42 commands to offset the mortice's. The problem is that now I need to be able to offset the tenons as well. They are being machined in the G19 plain and EMC2 will not let me use Radius comp in this plain. My question is, is there a work around to this problem?
