I just picked up a machine here that is spitting the balls out of the ballnut setup, does anybody know of a webpage with a rundown on troubleshooting ballscrews etc?I don't know the brand of the screw offhand. Is there generally a bushing holding the brearings in? I will have to get new bearings at the very least.
Darn machine, can't run it until its fixed! :rolleyes:

The Balls usually recirculate within the assembly, if it's spitting them out the pickup/return tubes are either damaged or missing!
