We have an 1986 vmc4020 without the tool in tool out sensor on the drawbar. When tool change is requested, changer moves to the spindel. Draw bar releases the tool holder air blast comes on. The Z does not retract to allow the changer to return home. and all stops. Other than not changing tools, x,y,z, operate flawlessly The changer extend switch is reading correctly Has anyone had this issue.

Any time I have had this happen it has been the "switch".
