Wasn't sure which forum to post this in...

I plan on using the 3D Scanning probe from my compucarve/carvewright with Mach3. Once I have done the scan and have the *.txt file, what software do I need to use to get this into a *.nc file?
Right now I need the cheapest way to convert the txt to nc - demo programs would be great. Once I determine that it will do what I need, I will be willing to sink a few dollars into the software.

Use mach (http://http://www.machsupport.com/downloads/MachCloud.zip) cloud to turn it into a mesh, and MeshCAM (http://www.meshcam.com) or Cut3D (http://www.vectric.com/WebSite/Vectric/cut3d/c3d_index.htm) to create the code

What are some good settings to set the 3d probe settings in mach3?
I am trying to scan a dime first and have the settings of...
X .5
Y .5
Max Grid Increment .01
Probe Depth .05
Probe Clear .05
Probe Rate 100
Probe Ball .012

It seems to be working it went to the center of the dime and the probe is going up and down, but I expected a lot faster movement. It cycles about 1 down cycle every second. Is this correct or do I need to change some settings.
