I've been trying to produce Gcode for model 2" diameter wheels. I keep getting rounded edges instead of sharp edges. The G code also clips off the edges of the circle in generating code. Why can't the cutter be programed to turn a circle instead of splitting it up into hundreds of moves? Excuse my questions as I've only been using the program for a few weeks.

Paul,
You may want to look at your controller post and check for interpolation tolerances and settings, mine has a check box for: Full, Half, Quarter and Arcs as lines, Full is best, you do not want "Arcs as Lines if your controller is capable of interpolation, mine is set at "Full" and .0005 "interpolation Tolerance".

Paul,
By default BobCAD does not generate 3D arcs(x,z or y,z), it sticks to the x,y plane for arc values. There is no easy way to change this so I suggest leaving the post alone for now. If it does become a huge concern for you then contact technical support and see what they can do in the way of posting in multiple quadrants.
Although, to improve the results you are getting:
When you are in the Tool Depth Settings window you can change the arc interpolation error. Check the box next to enable, under automatic roughing, then change the arc interpolation error to a value that matches the number of decimals you are trying to output. You shuld see much better results thuis way...
