This is right from the mouth of one of our engineers this week at lunch. He said it jokingly and everyone knows he's a brilliant guy but........Ya had ta be there. :rolleyes:

"You know what I like most about doing PMA's? It's the fact that you can be stupid and they don't see it right away. It takes them a little while to catch on to ya. If I ever took a job as a real engineer I wouldn't last a week. As soon as I land them a couple PO's they're gonna get rid of me anyways."

In the days of yore when I worked in the IT industry (i.e. "before" I got a life) we used to have a saying:

"To err is human, to completely foul things up takes a computer...."

But then, what do I know, as a woodworker I am one of those guys that real engineers (and CNC men) regards as being "as bright as a box of rocks" (a quote from our CNC engineer about a competitor) ;) ;)
