Hello,

I need 3 shaft couplers that go from 1/2" to 3/4".
Bore A: 3/4"
Bore B: 1/2"
Outter diameter: 1 1/2"
Length: 2 1/2"
Material: 6061 Aluminum

The depth of each bore should be equal, meaning 1 1/4" for each one, nothing special needs to happen in the middle. I plan to drill and tape the set screws for this, so no need to worry about that.

Tolerances should be pretty tight, although i'm not Nasa or anything. Obviously this should be done on a lathe, i tried doing this myself with machineable-bore couplers from mcmaster, and using a drill press, but they are off a tiny bit and make the machine do horrible things, so I need to them to be made well.

Or if someone knows where to buy these, I can't for the life of me find any supplier that has these, most only step 1/8" of an inch, not a 1/4".

thanks,
Ross

IF YOU WANT A .250 STEP YOU HAVE TO GO FROM 1.0 INCH TO .500 INCH BORE , THAT WILL GIVE YOU .250 OF LIP AROUND THE BORE .. ITS ALL DIVIDED IN HALF , RADIAL DIM.

I did not mean step as in how much to step your lathe, i just meant that the diameter bore difference is generally at most an eighth of an inch (at mcmaster and others).

It states very clearly that I want Bore A to be 3/4" and Bore B to be 1/2", there should be no other interpretation

Mcmaster part # 6208K243
Bore A: 3/4"
Bore B: 1/2"
Outter diameter: 1 3/4"
Length: 2 3/4"
Material: Aluminum
$52.04 each

part 6507K3 will also do 1/2 to 3/4

Both of these are flexible couplings, it looks like you need one bored out if you have to have a rigid coupling.
