HEY, I just joined and I have to say- its great to see dedicated site to CNC information for the hobbyist and the like on a professional level. Im studying engineering (both mech and elec).

I was wondering if anyone could point me towards information on servo motors and how they work compared to stepper motors? especially how they feed back information- on the spindles location to the computer.
