Ok, I've been searching for a few hours now and haven't found my answer. I'm a beginner Solidworks user at work, but found TurboCad Mac/Pro V3 for my home use.

Now, my problem is, I can figure out how to extrude a 2d object in Solidworks and make it 3d, but I just can't figure out TurboCad. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks
Tim

I am using TurboCAD Mac Pro V3, but haven't had a reason to try
extrusions yet. However, if you click on help, then User Guide, take a look
at Part 4: Solid Modeling, Chapter 28 Solids from Profiles, I think
it has what you're looking for. See page 278.

Good luck.

the extrude tool is in the 3d tools pallet and looks similar to the cylinder tool, but if you look close you will see it is leaning to the right there are also some training videos on utube now and rob berry at cadcourse.com is always helpfull i have just got v16 off rob berry and i am really impressed with it i have some blogs out there with turbocad stuff on them and a main website we used to make all the stuff on there but had to draw everything by hand so turbocad is something i am very passionate about here are some links http://smgdesign.net/index.php
