When any of you get a chance would you try the following and see if you get incorrect results.

Size is not the issue this is just what I was using
1) Create a cube 1"Z x 1.250"Y x 6"X
2) put a 2"diam x 1"h cylinder in the center of x,y,z of cube
3) Put a 1"diam x 1"h cylinder in the center of the 2"
4) Use the Difference function to put the 1" hole through when rendering.

See if while rendering the hole does appear to go through on my system it does not.

I found a work around but am interested in seeing if it is possibly my video card, bug or just a onecncxp quirk.

Like this?
1) draw your parts as per your post.

2) then "merge" the cube with the 2 in cyl.(don't do anything with the 1 in cyl, yet) Note you should get a message that informs you you have a watertight model.

3) then use the "difference" function to remove the 1 in cyl.(pick the cube/cyl comb then the 1 in cyl.

4) then use the "disconect" surfaces funtion and pick the model.

5)then use select all and use the "union" funtion to remove the inner parts.

By the way I always do a "save" between every operation just in case it dosn't like it.

Ward I am beginning to hate you :) I just spent three hours coming up with a solution and you do it on the fly, oh well I guess that is what comes from experience.

I did it this way, and if machining would it create problems?

Create cube
create 2" cylinder
Use Difference on the cube and 2" cylinder
re-create 2" cylinder
create the 1" cylinder
Use Difference on the 2" and 1" to get hole through.

Your use of watertight makes me think I might have a problem as the way I am doing it is not really a one piece as yours seems to be indicating. (am I wrong here)

It's best to get a watertight model, but the great thing about OneCNC is it will cut it even if you don't have a watertight model.
And your right if it dosen't say watertight it isn't.
By the way you can only get watertight by using the "merge" and NOT the union.
So sometimes you have to use the union to remove the inner parts then disconect and merge. Did that make sense?

And believe me you will get a handle on this. Like anything else, it takes time to get your mind in tune with this solid's thing. Sure is easy and fun when you do. :eek:
