Can the lead in location be changed when doing a 2d profile cut? I cut different shapes and would like to have a the bit start in the same location. Now it just starts were ever it feels like.

For instance, I will draw something, then decide where I want the tool to radius in, cut and exit, then I put two points right next to eachother, split the curve using those two control points and re-join. chmillman 03-27-2008, 02:39 PM In Visual Mill the cut always starts at the curve start and travels to the end. Even closed curves have a start and end. In the edit curve toolbar, you will find a button which will allow you to change the location of the curve start/end and another for the direction. --ch DennisCNC 04-03-2008, 11:33 PM Thank you both, now I keep things standardized. |
