I am curious if there is a such thing or practice of a person doing design/coding work via telecommuting at an entry level? This is something that I've always had an interest in, however after a few years of schooling I decided I wanted to "help people" and became a paramedic. With my current work schedule, I actually only work 9 days a month on 24 hour shifts and have a lot of time to spare. I'd like to try and get back into this at least on a part time basis and I don't know what road I should go down or try and take.

Any help/advice/comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you...
