I run stainless steel parts most of the time and we can electropolish them or passivate them to get a real nice shiny finish. I am messing with some parts made of M2 steel and would like to find a way to obtain a better finish than what I get off the machine. I would preffer not to resort to buffing these parts because there will be thousands and that just doesnt sound like much fun! Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Have you thought about using a rotating tumbler

I have only ever used tumblers in the past for mass deburring processes. Can you change the aggregate to promote a better finish?
