Doe's anyone have a tooling plate from littlemachine shop? is this an easier set up than just the table, the plate covers the table 3/4 thick, w/ 3/8 16 tapped holes. this is for the X2 thanks

the tooling plate is a great addition to the X2. It will let you line your LMS vise in seconds. also making other fixture plates for production purposes is easy too. If you need more understanding of the plate and fixturing see the industrial hobbies website. Look to your left and I think it is under production notes. Also I do not mean to down play your knowledge just wantedt o make sure you got as much info as i could give.

A tooling plate is a joy.

Some advantages:
Instant vise/fixture alignment.
Easy to clean. (Make sure to put set screws or plugs in the unused holes)
Greater variety of clamping positions.
Slight increase in table size possible.

I plan to make my own with a tramming circle designed into the hole pattern. Not hard to do if you don't mind tapping a lot of holes :)
