i'm setting up a nice serial controller/driver system by ocean controls, only the software vb-stepper don't have much going for it. seeing as the controllers are both serial, step+direction and 5v do you think its possible maybe to buy only the software without modification. i've exusted my funds already and buying the proprietry controller just ain't possible.

i'll email carken to find out, but a second opinion seems like a good idea.

no, thanks anyway, ive sourced an old pc and ordered a cheap breakout board. the thing hardly responds anymore but thats for a different thread.
