Usually you'll want to use some type of fence to keep it aligned, or drill holes and use pins or dowels for alignment. dshowalt 03-12-2008, 05:40 PM http://youtube.com/watch?v=19wVS0ad4ec the_paco 03-12-2008, 10:36 PM Pretty good video dshowalt. Very generous to record the sequences. That's pretty much the way I handle this as well; fence to slide accurately (generally machined with the CNC tool), registering marks (or dowel pins for maximum accuracy) and a good set of toolpaths according to the specifications. It can get more complicate but that's the basic of handling longer projects than the machine bed can. dshowalt 03-13-2008, 08:00 PM Not my video, I just remembered seeing it a while back and thought it could help. |
