I have two CNC mills, a Sherline and a mill built from a Mini mill Chassis by Ken at KDN tool.
They are both small so I finally went out and bought a Rong Fu RF 45. It came with a DRO, Power xfeed and Power Spindle down feed.
Problem is that it is big and weighs over 900 pounds and is too wide to get through my basement door.
Has anybody got good information on how best to remove the table so I can move it into my workshop.
Can I remove just the hand wheel and table fixture bracket on the right side and turn the leadscrew to slide the table off on the left side. I will also have to remove the DRO slides (I realize that).
I want to disturb as little as possible, so I figured I would ask before starting to dismantle it.
