I'm trying to design a cnc machine which will require minimal work to build, I have tried to build one out of MDF but my joinery skills arent up to scratch so it either shakes wobles or is very unstable.

So i've decide to design my own using Hepco MCS which means very little work just bolt together.

I've gone with the 20 x 40 structural alumnium, and am going to use

2x 900mm lengths
2x 800mm lengths
2x 300mm lengths
1x 700mm length

It is still a work in progress but i have attached the drawings of where i'm upto in AutoCAD 2004 Format.

But i would like advice on whether I Can Use 4 Pillow Blocks instead of 8 on the Y and Z axis.
