I have a couple probs going on and just can't figure it out. Boss 6 control...Mastercam ver 9.....it has a post processor for the 6 but it doesn't seem to want to post it right all the time. First off any ideas what the 3 K's are in the beginning? Secondly ....after i regen the tool paths, backplot, verify and it all looks good and looks as if it does what it's suppose too on the screen......then I post it and the G code all seems to look good......then I'll test run it and it starts making moves that aren't in the g code or don't match up to the N lines of code. Any heads up are much appreciated.

Forgot to mention....I'm using a program called "tera term" to communicate between the computer and the control. So after I save the nc file I then save it too notebook as a text file and send it to the machine through tera term then.

After two days of doinking around with this I believe I finally figured out what it was. It had to be something the Mastercam software didn't like in the original drawing......not sure if was a line over top of a line or what. But I scraped the whole drawing and everything and went back to absolute zero to start all over.
New drawing....new everything and it cuts like it is suppose to. Been a frustrating couple of days but I believe I learned a lesson I won't forget for a while.

Yeah I had similar situations with V9.1. Geometery on top of each other and not visible. I got pretty good at spotting the subtle difference when "layered" geo was selected. The tool paths didn't post right or even look right.

But, seems you figured it out on yer own. a good way to never forget ...........

I'm still having some slight issues with the posts. Doesn't want to post right all the time. I wish I could find someone too help me edit the post processor.
Tonight I had an issue with pocketing and couldn't figure it out for a while but finally realized that it wasn't putting G75 in the code for some reason. Small issues like that drive me nuts sometimes. But I'm still learning so it's all good!
