I’ve recently acquired a Taig CNC ready mill and lathe.

As I wait for the electronic components, I have made plastic coolant trays for flood or mist coolant. Photos are located in the SteveM photo album.

A few spares were made for evaluation and I am prepared to sell these prototypes, for the cost of the plastic, to Taig mill users in the Toronto area, in exchange for an objective critique.

These may be available for purchase if there is demand.
Pics are here: http://ph.groups.yahoo.com/group/taigtools/photos/browse/fd60

Thanks
Steve

I'm in Thornhill, ON and purchased the machines from Taig.

Nice tray but noticed that it looks like if the table is all the way to either side, the coolant would drip over the edges of the tray, no?

The tray is sized to fit inside the box that Taig uses to ship the mills.

Since my mill is not running yet, the drip from the end of the table
did not occur to me. I will have to address this problem while still
keeping the overall size of the tray the same.

Also, what about when actually milling and using fluid, what about spray and everything?
